To ensure the best possible experience in G7, we have established some basic terms for all participants, including Members & Guests.

Please take a moment to acquaint yourself with these important conditions. If you have questions, contact G7 customer services. To preserve a climate that encourages both civil dialogue and fruitful business-sharing, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership in this community for anyone who violates these rules.

I. Usage & Scope

This agreement is between G7 Networking (“G7” or “G7 Networking”) and you (“User”), regarding your use of the G7 Website and Application (“Website”) and your participation in G7 activities, including local chapter meetings.

The G7 Website and right to G7 chapter participation are offered to you conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein. Your use of the G7 Website and participation in local chapter activities constitute your agreement to all such terms, conditions, and notices.

G7 reserves the right to change the terms, conditions, and notices under which the G7 Website and chapter participation rights are offered, including but not limited to the charges associated with the use of the G7 Website.

II. Membership

Pathway to Membership

In a chapter’s early formation period, the President shall approve or deny any new membership applications for that chapter.

After the Board is fully formed, individuals interested in becoming a new Member or returning Member to any chapter must go through the following membership process:

  1. The User must submit their membership application online using the G7 app.
  2. As needed, G7 Admin shall review and forward the application to the local chapter board.
  3. The Board approves or denies the membership application.

Board officers must submit their votes within 24 hours of the vote being called; failure to timely vote forfeits that officer’s vote. A unanimous vote of all officers is required to accept the new Member into the group. Individual Board officers each have the right to submit a vote of approval, vote of denial, or recuse themselves from voting for any reason.

Board of Directors

Each G7 chapter shall be composed on the following officer roles:

  • President
  • Vice-President
  • Event Director
  • Membership Director
  • Prayer Director

In a chapter’s early formation period, the President shall appoint Board officer roles to chapter members, with the individual agreement of that member. After the Board is fully formed, each officer role’s appointment shall be conducted by election through a majority of the members present and in good standing, and each role shall be up for re-election after one-year terms.

(The qualifications and duties of each Board role are explained in detail in G7 leadership trainings.)

Financial Obligations

User’s membership fees (including but not limited to initiation fee and membership dues) and taxes are set forth in the applicable Membership Application form, based on the membership type or frequency. User will pay all fees when due and is responsible for providing all necessary and accurate billing information to G7. If fees are paid by credit card or other electronic means, the User authorizes G7 to charge fees using Member’s preferred payment method.

The User agrees that its membership will automatically renew on an annual or monthly basis, depending on selected membership type and renewal date. User authorizes G7 to automatically charge User for the applicable fees on or after the renewal date, unless the membership has been cancelled or terminated in accordance with this agreement.

Chapter Fees

As determined by a Chapter’s own elected protocol, a chapter may assess additional fee(s) for meeting facilities and food / beverage requirements for participation in the chapter. Further, the recruiting Member is responsible for covering the fees incurred for any Guest they bring to chapter meetings.

Refunds

G7 Networking membership benefits are available upon successful payment, providing immediate access to our business-class networking, lead-sharing, membership directory, events, and training. Therefore, paid membership is presumed used and not eligible for return or refund. G7 Networking maintains the discretionary right to issue or withhold refunds on a partial or complete basis, due to certain, unexpected, financial adversities, such as business closures or family emergencies.

Business Category Exclusivity

One of the essential purposes of each G7 chapter is the passing of business among members on a favorable basis. To preserve and fulfill this purpose, G7 chapter membership operates on an exclusive-category (profession) basis, which permits only one business or professional classification to be represented in a chapter at any given time.

Chapter members and leadership are responsible for honoring category (profession) exclusivity and making fair judgments on such matters, both in their recruiting and business dealings within the G7 network. G7 Networking maintains the index of all Business Categories used in G7.

Conflict Resolution

Conflicts between Members—including business competition and business category conflicts —should be settled between the involved members whenever possible. If this cannot be done, a formal complaint should be made in writing and given to the Chapter Board. It is their responsibility to investigate the complaint and follow‐up with all parties.

The chapter Board has binding authority to resolve the matter on behalf of the involved Members, while G7 managerial leadership maintain the right to make rulings in chapter conflicts.

Attendance

Members are expected to regularly attend the monthly meetings. If a Member is absent more than once (1) time within a calendar quarter or is two (2) months in arrears of payment of their fees, their membership may be terminated by a majority vote of the Board. If a Member is terminated, they will have the opportunity to re‐apply for membership. All applicable fees for a new application will apply.

Substitution

When a Member plans on missing a meeting, they are encouraged (but not required) to send another individual in their place.

  • The substitute should represent the Member and be prepared to present the Member’s “Group” (basic introduction) and “Get” (business commercial) portions of the meeting.
  • The substitute may also give their own business commercial if there is no classification conflict with existing Members.
  • The substitute’s attendance counts for the Member, and there is no additional fee for substitute’s attendance.

Leave of Absence

In the event that a Member needs time away from the meeting due to hardship or exigent circumstances they may request one 90-day leave of absence (LOA) in writing from the Board. During the 90-day LOA, any facilities / meal costs will be waived.

After the LOA has expired, the Member is expected to resume their obligations, including meeting participation and any chapter leadership responsibilities. If they do not attend, both their business category and leadership role will become open to other candidates, and all fees, including meals, will continue to be assessed until the Member submits their written resignation to the board and the waiting period is satisfied.

Guests

For maintaining solid chapter membership, Chapters Members will be encouraged to invite guests to attend meetings for the purpose of chapter recruitment. An individual attending as a Guest is limited to one visit. Subsequent meeting attendance requires paid membership and is not permitted until membership confirmation, to be monitored and enforced by the chapter Board.

Guests that are substituting for a current paid member are still welcome to one visit since they have not attended representing themselves.

To honor category exclusivity, Members will refrain from inviting guests that are in a similar business or profession to existing chapter members. It is the responsibility of the recruiting Member to contact the current Member in that similar category and resolve any potential category-related conflicts prior to the guest’s invitation or participation in chapter meetings. If a Member intentionally invites a competing guest, the matter may be referred to the Chapter Board and District Manager for action to be taken, up to and including Member termination.
