This message is from my friend Tom Vander Well, who has been reading a chapter a day in the Bible for 20+ years and blogs about it. Yesterday's chapter was 1 Corinthians 10 and he brought up an aspect that I had never heard or considered before -- Paul was a "Business Minister"! Other names might be "Workplace Minister" or "Marketplace Minister" or "Bi-Vocational" or whatever other term you want to apply to it. In essence, someone who doesn't rely on a ministry for their support, someone who pays their own way.
